Five Nights at Freddy's 2: parents' guide
Best for ages 14 and up. Rated PG-13 for violent content, terror and some language.
A PG-13 horror sequel for teens who like jump scares, built on the hit video game series. Mike, his little sister and a police officer face a new set of haunted animatronics a year after the first film. Most killings are quick or partly off screen, but they include a skull crushed by a robot, a man torn in two, a man dragged into a pool that fills with blood, and a flashback of a young girl stabbed in the back who staggers out bleeding and dies. Children are stalked by a knife-wielding robot, and jump scares are frequent. Language includes two s-words. Best for 14 and up.

Worth talking about
The adults in the story ignore a child's warning, with deadly results. What should a kid do when grown-ups won't listen?
